Looking for your next relaxing weekender in Sydney? Located just 1.5 hours drive from Sydney’s CBD in the small town of Bilpin, Eden Farm Escape is a beautiful, luxury farm stay, set on Eden Equine’s 90-acre property. This is one of the most unique, pet friendly stays that I’ve experienced and you’ll definitely feel a change in scenery as soon as you arrive.. that ‘ahh moment’ knowing you’re about to unwind.. hankering for that mini-holiday that you’ve been wanting – and have needed – over the last few. Eden Farm Escape will give you that feeling.. and more. With your choice of 5 self-contained cabins, this is perfect getaway for a couple, a family, or a group of friends to stay on a relatively quiet and peaceful acreage. The cabins are clustered near enough and walking distance apart, but still ensure privacy in between. And what I love even more about this stay, is that your dog is welcome to stay too. Our accommodation was in the Charlie Cabin, a modern 2-bedroom property equipped with …

The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius: Luxury Pavilion Accommodation

(Edit: Stay was pre-COVID lockdown) The Luxury Pavilion at The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius is a relaxing and spacious hotel stay, featuring a large open plan room with a separate living area and an adjoining outdoor private terrace. At 70sqm in size, it is much bigger than many other international hotel rooms we’ve stayed at and I would love to stay here more frequently.. if only I didn’t live so far away in Australia that is. Upon entering, you’re in awe of the epic water views straight out the glass doors and windows facing the garden. This fills the room with plenty of natural lighting and can be filtered throughout the day using sheer or blockout blinds available on all windows and doors. Expect that relaxing feeling – “ahh.. I’m on holiday” moment whilst staying here. Fitted with modern coastal and natural bamboo furnishings, this pavilion exudes luxury at all corners of the room; soft and cosy bedding, marble bathroom fixtures, spacious living and a private terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor seating area. The …

The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius Providing Service Excellence

(Edit: Stay was pre-COVID lockdown) Thinking of your next holiday, we couldn’t wait to consider another relaxing island destination.. so why not head to Mauritius? Whilst researching where to stay, we discovered the The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius (part of The Oberoi Group) was getting a huge wrap, voted as one of the top 5 Mauritius Trip Advisor ‘Traveller Ranked’ hotels of 2020. The countless positive reviews could not fault what we were about to experience – and I must admit, after our stay, they truly lived up to our expectations.. plus more.  Their impeccable service was superb (not just great) and we genuinely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a seaside stay in Mauritius. Located in the Indian Ocean and off the coast of Africa, The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius is less than a one hour drive from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.  Situated on the north-west coast of Turtle Bay in Balaclava, tucked away behind quiet stretches of local roads, The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius offers privacy as soon as you …

Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel in Port Louis, Mauritius

(Edit: Stay was pre-COVID lockdown) If you’re planning a trip to Mauritius, consider staying in the heart of its capital, Port Louis at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel (part of the Indigo Hotels Group). I cannot fault this hotel’s location. It is right on the waterfront with harbour and marina views all around, and walking distance to most attractions of the city. On arrival, we were met by the lovely Vaishali, who brought us up to our room. She talked us through the features including the minibar fridge being controlled by the swipe card to open. The Classic Room has standard inclusions such as temperature controlled air-conditioning, 55″ flat screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi in room and throughout the hotel property. It also had a king-sized bed and private balcony with views overlooking the city and marina. I must say, the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. It was one of my highlights whilst staying in Port Louis – reminded me of Venice at night. The buzz in Place du Caudan and the buildings lighting …

Four Points by Sheraton, Sydney Central Park

Looking for affordable Sydney accommodation within Sydney’s CBD? Look no further as you’ve found the Four Points by Sheraton, Sydney Central Park in Chippendale. What I love the most about this hotel is its location; less than a 15-minute walk from Sydney’s main Central Train Station – you cannot get lost in finding your way to this brand new hotel on 88 Broadway. Neighbouring the shopping centre of Central Park Mall and University of Technology Sydney, with bus transport also available at your doorstep, this hotel is well-positioned. It’s also less than a 3-minute walk to the nearby famed ‘Kensington Street’ which you’ll find is divided into four main districts; Spice Alley, The Old Rum Store, Eastside and Westside. This area encompasses more than 25 restaurants, eateries, galleries and shops to stroll amongst and choose to eat from. If you’re happy to commute on foot, this is a great base for you to explore Sydney’s city. There is a Starbucks literally a handful of doors down from the Four Points by Sheraton, otherwise there are …
